without further ado, here are some live stories from the Haunted American

Okay, can you start by telling me your name and where you're from? I am Cat Barber

and I am from Champagne, Illinois. Awesome. Tell me a ghost story. So this story

takes place in Hoops, in Illinois and if you ever been there, I'm sorry. I have

not. And if you have not been there, stay away. Okay. It's about a home that was

owned by my family for the longest time. We don't know how far back it goes.

It's just always been in the family. Yeah. And my both my grandmother, grandfather

and their daughter who never married lived in the home and my grandmother passed

away in 2008 in April and my aunt passed away in May of 2008 a month after. Okay. And my

grandfather had long passed away at that point and so my mother had the

responsibility of going through the home and selling it because they could not

afford a very good bear. So it was a complicated situation to say the least.
