Hey everybody, what's Cody? I just wanted to let everybody know how much we

appreciated you all coming out to the Haunted American Conference and this is

just going to be some ghost stories that I got while I was there and it really

meant a lot to us and I want to give some shout-outs. Thank you to Koi who

rescued all of my equipment when I couldn't read what time things closed. Thank

you to Jamie and Kelly for giving me candy because apparently mine at my

booth was not satisfactory. Thank you to Kaelin for just helping me in

general and putting up with all my nonsense and yeah I appreciate it. And so

without further ado, here are some live stories from the Haunted American

Conference.

Okay, can you start by telling me your name and where you're from? I am Cat Barber

and I am from Champagne, Illinois. Awesome. Tell me a ghost story. So this story

takes place in Hoops, in Illinois and if you ever been there, I'm sorry. I have

not. And if you have not been there, stay away. Okay. It's about a home that was

owned by my family for the longest time. We don't know how far back it goes.

It's just always been in the family. Yeah. And my both my grandmother, grandfather

and their daughter who never married lived in the home and my grandmother passed

away in 2008 in April and my aunt passed away in May of 2008 a month after. Okay. And my

grandfather had long passed away at that point and so my mother had the

responsibility of going through the home and selling it because they could not

afford a very good bear. So it was a complicated situation to say the least.
