Ted Cupper is on the podcast. He has never seen the movie Crash, which we've talked about a ton and never done. So now we've got to hear Ted has never seen Crash. Hey, everybody, this has never seen it. I'm your host, Kyle Ayers. This is the podcast where I have my guests rewrite famous movies and TV shows they've never seen before. Today, having never seen Crash, we are joined by Ted Cooper. Ted, thanks for being here.

Oh, thanks for having me. Yeah, of course. Thank you for now. This a, every once in a while we'll get a movie or a TV show on here where it's not like as famous as the god, but it's more like infamous. Right, right. This is one of those movies that didn't hold up, right? It won the Oscar for the best picture. I believe it held up for about 15 minutes. Exactly. Long enough to win the largest prize in movie making. And then now it's a movie that everybody says is terrible. It's almost

a punchline. Right. And also joining studio, hanging out this to read parts once again is Caleb

Signing. That's right. Having seen Crash. I have seen Crash. What a friggin' loser. And I saw it because Ludacris was in it. And... He is in it. I like everything he's in. Yeah, Ludacris is good. There's actually a lot of good actors in this movie. It was the cast was crazy. Yeah. I don't remember if someone famous directed it or not. I guess I'm... It's Paul Haggis. Okay, so it's like, they got everything put together.

Yeah.

Yeah, it should have held up longer, but... Like, I just looked it up here, and it is a fatal crash closes lanes on Southbound 71 Freeway in Chino Hills. I just Googled the movie, and all it wants to talk about is this news. Unbelievable. Oh, I thought that was the plot for a second. I was like, shoot, I didn't do a fatal crash.

This is like, okay, we'll do the script.

The plot of the actual movie is racism. Right, okay, good. I guess that. That's about it. There's some of that in here. That's why when I saw it, I was watching it, I'm like, finally! They always talk about representation. Yes. They shouldn't have called it crash. I made people think it was about a crash, but it's about a racist.

It made me think that it was the sequel to the 1996 David Cronenberg movie with James Spader. Have you guys seen that movie? What's that called? That movie's also called Crash. But it's about six. But it's about, yeah. And, yeah, that's... I've never even heard of it I guess I've heard the word

crash it's a movie where James Spader uh gets in car crashes for sexual gratification

anyway really it sounds amazing I really like that movie uh actually it's good but it sounds great

but I still not about crashes really it's about's about boning. Yeah, but they can be like... But they do crash the cars in the movie as part of the boning. Like, uh... And if they called it boning. Yeah, you can't... It's going to be harder to get... That would have been a been a better title, I think. More people would have seen it.

If this movie is called racism... Yeah.
