Summary

Have you ever wondered if what you believe about your body aligns with biblical truth? In this third episode of the “Your Body” mini-series, Lisa Whittle addresses the lack of clear, biblical teaching in the church about our physical bodies. She explores how secular culture often shapes our perceptions—and why understanding that we are made in God’s image matters more than ever. Join Lisa as she unpacks what it truly means to see our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit, and how living in biblical truth can transform our view of health and wholeness.

for a while, and the first thing I had to say in

answering honestly was really not much of anything. Because when I was growing up in the 80s,

this was just not a discussion the church was having. In fact, I can't really remember a time in my adolescent years that we had a discussion

I really can't remember one single conversation we had in Sunday school, church camp, anything.

VBS?

1:48.6

I just don't recall that.

And yet, if you know anything about adolescents, it is basically all preteens and teens think about.

A girl guiding study revealed that 80% of girls aged 11 through 21 felt their
