Hi, everyone. Welcome to At Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson, and I have the biggest

0:13.0

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every week

0:18.9

to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement, and I am just so

0:24.4

glad that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello, my friends. How are you? Oh, my goodness, it's working. Sometimes I don't shut down my computer for a very long time, and then I have about a thousand windows open, and my podcast doesn't always work. Welcome to At Home with Sally. And it looks like today, and I have a friend outside. It is a deer. We have

0:56.3

had up to 14 deer in our snow yard in the past few weeks, so he is accompanying me today.

1:03.3

Well, I'm so glad you join me. And for those of you who are regular listeners to my podcast,

1:09.6

thank you. Thank you for sharing it with your friends. Thank you for

1:13.3

sending me so many letters. I'm just so encouraged by you. And today I have so much to share with you.

1:19.8

children live in the UK and one lives in Manhattan. So I miss them terribly because we are

1:35.1

best friends. So I talked an hour and now I'm going to have to rush through all of this

1:39.9

great content and good thoughts that I've had today because I've been kind of storing up all week

1:45.9

long and thinking about you. So here we go. I was thinking a lot about how just it's been kind of

1:59.1

sad in the world. It's been a little bit scary in the world. It's been,

2:04.0

we've had catastrophes, we've had fires, and we've had a helicopter crash and, um, and another

2:12.4

crash. We've had wars and rumors of wars. We've had all sorts of people on all sides politically making comments and being stirred up by what's happened in the past few weeks.

2:24.7

And I choose never to really talk about politics because I would really rather center on just my walk with the Lord, your walk with the Lord, the ideals that

2:36.1

we share in common in this arena. But I did want to talk to you about a couple of things because

2:45.1

I think that one of the things I've realized in the past couple of weeks that I'll be talking

2:50.1

a little bit about today is how important it is for us to refresh our vision, to gain such a view of life that we think about what it looks like to invest light and beauty and goodness and love and grace and peace and forgiveness into this world
