joined me. I am actually sitting in my little study that Clay has been helping me revamp. It was really the

library for our whole family for a long time. And some of the chairs have springs that are sprung in the cushion seats.

We're getting a new chair so Clay can come in and visit with me.

And I have one of those pop-up tables that some people have in their living room so I can

put my computer on it and write.

And I just wish you could be here with me.

I have a nice little candlelit, a little jug of beautiful flowers, which I will tell you about later if I have enough time.

And I'm surrounded by thousands of books. What could be better? I just drank my coffee, so I don't have any left for that. But we can pretend that we're having a cup of tea or coffee together.

Anyway, I have to say that we actually have sunshine today, and I think that our temperature

is going to get up in the 30s, so we are very grateful after two and a half weeks of constant

sub-zero temperatures, and also lots and loss of snow that hasn't melted in about, I don't know,

since December. So I am happy as can be. I've actually kind of enjoyed a whole new part of me.

I usually have many things scheduled and trips and children and commitments and deadlines. And for the first time

in many years, I've kind of separated this particular few months as a time to catch up, to

regroup, to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up. What am I going to do with the rest of my

life? Do you ever feel like that?

And so, though I do have some commitments still ahead. But I have just been, and I'm turning into my mother when she was older, she wore these big old white tennis shoes, trainers that we call them in
