She has been interviewed twice by Photo District News (PDN), News Photographer Magazine, as well as online publications and podcasts about the importance of nonprofit documentary photography. She has been a guest lecturer at Georgetown University, American University, Hiram College, Syracuse University, and Columbia University’s Journalism schools about her work with international nonprofits. Jamie lives in the heart of the mountain in ski country with her husband and their awesome pound puppy, Cody, in Redmond, Oregon. 0:15.4	Of the hundreds of episodes that I've done over the years, the ones that I've gotten the greatest responses to,
0:22.9	surprisingly, have been the conversations where I was more the focus rather than a guest. And I'm
0:30.4	very flattered that so many people have enjoyed those episodes, despite feeling that there are
0:35.6	better people to focus on, other than me.
0:39.4	So when I was asked by a former guest of the show, Jamie Rose, whether I'd be open to
0:45.1	her interviewing me, I had to think about it.
0:49.3	But I was quickly convinced, not only because I like and respect Jamie, but because there were a few things
0:55.7	that I've been wanting to share with you for a while. So this was as good an opportunity to do so
1:02.8	as any. Jamie is the co-founder of the Momenta Photographic Workshop. She has had years of
1:10.1	experience as a photojournalist and documentary photographer,
1:14.2	and so I knew I would be in good hands. So I gave her complete license to talk to me about
1:19.8	anything and everything, which we did. So the result is an unusually long episode of the podcast.
