We know what happens if we do nothing and that's that things get worse.

And people often ask me, well, what's the point?

And I think, well, the point is that we know what happens if we do nothing,

but also that there are millions of people around the world

who are already living with the effects of climate change

that they have very little responsibility for and

to do nothing means that we abandon them to that fate.
