President Donald Trump has today signed executive actions that will delay tariffs for nearly one month on all products from Mexico and Canada,

which are covered by the US, Mexico and Canada Free Trade Treaty.

And in response, Canada's finance minister has said on X, it will also pause its own tariffs on the US.

The walkback is a remarkable reversal of one of Trump's signature economic plans,

which has rattled markets, businesses and consumers.

Trump denied the market had anything to do with his reversal

in a press conference in the Oval Office today.
