know for Thursday, March 6th. President Donald Trump has announced a tariff delay on all products from Mexico that are covered

by the USMTA Free Trade Treaty. That means products within the US-Mexico-Canada agreement,

and this pause runs until April 2nd. Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum has said this includes virtually

all of Mexico's trade with the United States, and she described her call this morning with Trump,

quote, excellent and respectful. Trump hasn't yet mentioned any updates the tariffs placed on Canada,

but negotiations are ongoing. Earlier today, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik said tariffs on treaty-compliant products

from Canada will likely be paused.

Here's CNN's Jeff Zellini on what looks like a significant walkback for Trump.

The bottom line to all of this is we have seen the president. He's a believer in tariffs. There's no doubt

about it. But when he starts hearing the pushback and seeing the pushback in the markets,

he reacts and changes his mind. We're very thankful that we are not alone and these are not

just worse. We feel it. That's Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, speaking today at an EU defense summit.

EU leaders were holding emergency talks today to discuss funding for Ukraine after the US has wavered on support.
