Hey, Tamarindo listeners, this is a special 10th anniversary edition of Tamarindo.

First, we reflect on a decade of centering Latiné voices, our culture, and our commitment

to inclusion. We look back at what it

was like to record the first episode and how tamarindo has evolved to be so much more than a podcast.

After that, we spent some time with Karen Gonzalez from Karen and Los Remedios. This is a band known

for blending traditional cumbia with electronic trip hop and low five textures.

And this interview was just ahead of their very intimate performance right here in Lincoln Heights,

blocks away from tamarindo's headquarters.

So in both cases, you're going to hear a little bit of background noise as the band's team is setting up. And also, in this special occasion of the 10th anniversary of Tamarindo, we recorded this at Delci's house. Deli was so sweet to interview me about what it was like to start Tamarindo. You're going to also hear a special guest, Delsey's seventh, fifth-old baby in the background, but, you know,

it's beautiful. And we didn't want him to miss the action. So he's right there with us. To all
