Oh, yeah, well, we are a very rigid family when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner.

Every year, Cindy McMahon and her family, the four McMahon siblings and their mother,

would come together in New Jersey and share an extravagant dinner that Cindy cooks up.

It is the stuffing and the gravy with the gigantic turkey that I take out of the refrigerator

at four o'clock in the morning and you know, do all that preparation.

So by the time anyone wakes up, they can smell the aroma of the roasting turkey on Thanksgiving

warning and the sweet potatoes and the twice baked potatoes.

Even though we're in a pandemic, Cindy was determined to make Thanksgiving happen.

To figure it out, she even put together a spreadsheet where she listed out all the relevant details

about our family members and tried to calculate the COVID-19 risk for each individual person.

I decided that I would fill in for each individual, you know, age and comorbidities.

Who do they come into contact with?

And whether there was some way we could in fact be together sitting across from each other

at the dining room table, have enjoying our meal without our masks on.

How can we have a relatively normal Thanksgiving in anything but normal times?

I'm sure we all have similar questions on our mind right now.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

In this time each year, we're usually starting to plan our road trips back to grandma's house

or the menu for Thanksgiving dinner.

But for Cindy, really for all of us, this is not any other year.

And this Thanksgiving is probably going to look and feel a lot different.

So today I'm going to go over some of the things we should keep in mind as we make our holiday plans.
