It is officially Sunday, February 15th, Valentine's Day weekend, a weekend celebrating

love, the love of our friends and our families, our boyfriends and girlfriends and partners,

our husbands and wives, and the love of our mothers and fathers.

Speaking of fathers, the love of Father God has been described for generations as some of the

greatest love that we as humans will ever know. And how does God show us love? Well, just to name a few

examples, he makes us pray and sometimes decides to grant those prayers, but usually not, at least not in the way that we want. He created us as

sinners and punishes us for the sins that he created and that we were born with. He makes us

beg him for forgiveness for the sins that, again, he created himself and gave us to commit, even though we shouldn't.

And he insists upon our devotion, regardless of the lack of evidence or explanation that he chooses to provide for us.

But most of all, he grants us free will.

He gives us the choice to follow him blindly or burn forever in a satanic hell

of his own invention. So today, we celebrate the love of our father and how much it means to us

that we are allowed to choose to follow him or else. How do you follow God? Let us know,

Normally, my wife and I just have a dinner together, but this year I surprised her. I got, normally we don't

get gifts on Valentine's Day, but this year I got her some Lego roses and she kind of, and that

kind of surprised her. So I think she kind of panicked and said, well, I better get something for Scott

then. So she also got me a Lego set. So last night after a nice dinner that I made for us, we sat down and put together our

Legos together.

That's awesome.
