The customer looks confused and asks, then how do you make a profit?

The salesman smiles and says, volume.

This old joke mirrors a situation we run into frequently on our shows.

A theist calls in, claiming to have evidence for their existence of their God.

The host then shows how their evidence doesn't actually support their conclusion.

Then the theist backpedals.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

I'm not saying this definitely proves God on its own.

It's just part of a cumulative case.

You have to consider the preponderance of the evidence.

Well, if you want to build a cumulative case for God, you have to have something to accumulate.

Zero plus zero is still zero, no matter how many more zeros you add on.
