1 Corinthians chapter 13 describes love in simple terms, stating it is kind and patient,

not arrogant or rude.

It is not irritable or resentful and does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but in the truth.

But I have a hard time believing in any such concept being tied to Christianity because

that is not the message I have seen or experienced.

Is love burning nonbelievers at the stake alive?

Is it insisting that God desires certain people to be slaves or concubines?

Is it telling people that they deserve to burn in hell for all eternity because they fell in

love with somebody of the same sex?

Or is it telling women that they

are subservient to men? This is all incredibly hateful. And it interferes with our ability to speak

honestly and openly. But I think we should be able to talk without the hate, the judgment,

the wrongdoing. And like the verse says, rejoice in the truth. So will you call us and speak your

truth? If so, do it now because the show is starting.

I get mistaken for a deceased African American jazz musician on a popular basis, so you're not the first. It's all right. I'm a place but offended. Well, drowning in potatoes, but other than that, doing all right.

How are you doing? I'm doing great. It's a wonderful spring day up here in New York. I was out at the park with my kids today, and now I'm here to do Satan's work, I guess, depending on who you ask. You know, you're not only surrounded by cicadas, but it looks like you're surrounded by bats. Yes. I have heard you mistakenly be called a vampire

before. Yes. So how does that work? On the days that I'm not mistaken for Sammy Davis,

Jr., I am often mistaken for a vampire. Only one of those are true. I'll let the audience decide which of those I actually am. But I just figured I would lean into it, you know. Yeah, well, I'm glad I'm not the only one messing up your identity. And I'm glad that you got a good sense of humor about it, because I have been waiting for a while to talk to you or to work with you. Yes. Yes. We've spoken before over chat.
