Al-Qaeda has training camps in Afghanistan at the permission of the Taliban in

Kabul. There is another surrogate for the Taliban in Cabal that is the Pakistani Taliban.

And there's news this morning of an attack, several KIA of the Pakistani military,

and then a counter-attack. What do we know so far, Bill?

Yes, so the circuit you're talking about

is called the movement of the Taliban in Pakistan.

It's known to shelter in Afghanistan.

Thousands of its fighters have been in Afghanistan,

even when the US was present in Afghanistan.

And they were there at the behest

that the support of the Afghan Taliban.

This relationship is decades long and it hasn't changed.

There's been Taliban attacks, Pakistani Taliban attacks inside of Pakistan.

It's been ongoing, near daily attacks.

Yesterday, the, or late last night night the Pakistani military launched airstrikes and into two provinces in

Pactia and coast in southeastern or eastern Afghanistan

It appears a member of the movement in the Taliban and Pakistan was one of the targets of the strikes. Some civilians and children were killed in the strikes.

At least that's what the Afghan Taliban is saying.

And keep in mind, the Afghan Taliban was supported by the Pakistani military in its efforts

to oust the US and succeeded.
