travelers in this world, and God has many wonderful truths to teach us along the way. For the next

Join us now as we study the scriptures together. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the journey. If anyone tells you that peer pressure ends when you graduate from high school when you turn 18, they're lying to you.

Because the truth is, peer pressure is in all of life.

One of the craziest things I ever did, I did as a full-grown man when two friends of mine, fellow workers, talked me into going bungee jumping.

Oh, that was a ridiculous thing to do.

I can say I've done it, but I'm never going to do it again.

I remember climbing those steps, getting to the top of

that tower, looking out over the edge. I heard those fateful words, it's your turn. And I remember

taking one giant step. I remember holding on to that band and screaming all the way down.

It was not my greatest, finest public moment. The truth of

matter is, some people view the Christian life like, that's it. I get to some pinnacle in my life,

and I take one huge step. I make one big decision, and then it's all downhill from there.

It's easy from then on. Could I say to you in my own experience, when I got to

the bottom of that bungee, I had to unstrap from that bungee cord and I had to keep walking.

I had to take the next step. The Christian life is not just one leap into the darkness. It is a

life of faith. It is always taking the next step. And so we return to

Philippians chapter 3, verse 12, where the apostle Paul said, not as though I had already attained,
