0:20.0	When he converted to Christianity, he was shocked, quite frankly,
0:24.0	that he did that.
0:25.0	As an intellectual, he never thought he would believe
0:27.0	that a carpenter from Nazareth was the Son of God.
0:31.0	Come to invade history and redeem people for his glory.
0:34.0	And yet, as he began to study philosophically,
0:37.0	he arrived at the place of believing in Jesus Christ.
0:40.0	And it was so profound and experienced for him,
0:43.0	he went away to retreat to a friend's house
0:45.0	and over two weeks wrote a book about it.
0:47.0	And as he wrote the book, it was an allegory,
0:50.0	a story about a guy who had a desire for something ultimate,
0:55.0	an island where we're delight and virtue met.
0:58.0	And then this young man launched out to try to find
1:01.0	that island of desire.
1:03.0	And as he did it, he journeyed through in C.S. Lewis's allegory
