So, Adrian, you grew up in Birmingham.

Yeah.

What was food like when you were little? Well, it was slightly different for me because my mom's Croatian.

So she'd come from Yugoslavia, as it then was in 1958, I think, when they got married.

And I was born in 67.

So, I mean, actually, I was talking to her the other day, and she was saying, going, she, she went out looking for garlic and walked the length of

the Soho Road in, in Hansworth and still, I just couldn't find any garlic and just didn't

know how to cook without garlic. I think when you finally found some, the whole family was

absolutely horrified with this noxious stumps since you'd found. But it's interesting because
