I'm John Batchel with Malcolm Holine, my good colleague, conference of president's

major American Jewish organizations, rolling back the years to 2012-2013, Syrian chemical

weapons.

You will recall the president of the United States, Mr. Obama, talked about a red line use of chemical weapons against civilian populations early in the Syrian civil war.

The red line was crossed. What is to be done? And then the president took a walk and said, I'm not going to attack.

A phone call comes in from Moscow, and Russia volunteers to take the chemical weapons out

of Syria and provide reassurance that there would not be WMD used against civilians, which

necessarily we fill in the blank followed repeatedly across the south, the north, and the east of Syria.

Chemical weapons attacks again and again and again.

These many years later, we turn to Greg Roman, executive director of the Middle East Forum,

who has a new report about the Syrian chemical weapons.

Greg, a very good evening to you.

To bring it up to date, my latest information that's out of date,

is that the IAF was conducting strikes against known chemical weapons storage

and factories across Syria,

trying to get ahead of the plundering that was likely to happen.

And within days of that, the al-Qaeda calling itself the Syrian liberation force occupied Damascus and I lost track.

What's happened to those sites that the IAF hit? Have they been inspected, Greg? Good evening to you. Some have by the
