Holine Conference of President's major American Jewish organizations. The disruptions,

the plain hatred demonstrated on major American university campuses in 24 has not been solved by the means that

the Trump administration is directing against elite universities, not solved at all.

Within these last hours, a demonstration of Columbia University exceedingly unacceptable in the same fashion that the ones in 24 were.

What is to be done?

We welcome Professor Boaz Galani, representing the Neiman Institute's study of the academic boycott of Israel.

What we see here in America is the hate speech and the hate actions of young people

who are either misinformed or deliberately meaning to provoke their neighbors.

What your report addresses something is not about students, not about young people, not about immaturity, but grownups and the conduct of grownups.

The academic boycott against Israel is part of a much larger movement,

the BDS, boycott, divestment, and sanctions that was launched against the State of Israel about three decades ago,

imitating to some extent a similar movement that was enacted against the apartheid regime in South Africa from the early to mid-70s

until the time that this regime fell down in the early 90s.
