Today is Wednesday.

It's a Wednesday.

And guess what?

We finally have a little bit of news out of the synod.

Now, it's the one week marker in the books.

So I guess they've done a complete Wednesday, October the 4th,

which was the opening day, Thursday, Friday, whether or not they did weekend synods was unclear.

Then we went Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. They didn't pause the way America did to celebrate

Christopher Columbus Day, even though he's an Italian national.

So that's in the books, as I've said several times since Rules for Retrograde, Synod

Coverage began last week. It's quite convenient that they're seven hours ahead of me,

and when I come to you, it's basically right after the day is concluded.

So we're not missing tons of analysis to give.

There hasn't been tons of analysis to give.

Aside from the craziness last week, which was fallout from the dubia being bandied back and forth, the two

sets of them, before the synod began.

So there's plenty to talk about in the first week, even though they're controlling the

information out.

And, of course, the document, which is a Laudato C sequel that Pope Francis released,

it appears that at today's synod proceedings, there was some talk about the themes of the

Laudate DM sequel to Laudato C, hugging trees, saving the environment, teaming up with
