Mayor Pete has said that Southwest Airlines will be held accountable by the Department of Transportation.

I mean, I feel so much better about all this now that Mayor Pete is on it and are esteemed leaders in Washington, D.C.

After 2,600 more Southwest flights are canceled Wednesday, that is two-thirds of all Southwest airline flights.

And it is clearly at this point, what I said very early on, I mentioned that I've got a couple

of kids that are stranded. My daughter is home. My son is not yet home. But it's, it was very

clear that this was not weather driven. It may have been initiated by some weather in the Northeast,

but cold weather and airplanes is not a thing.

It's the snow.

You can't land planes.

You can't take off.

Buffalo was a problem.

There were places in the Northeast.

There were a problem, but nothing like this.

And the other airlines not having any troubles at all at this point. And Southwest is

alone on an island. They've had a complete breakdown of their entire organization. And pointing

finger or blame at any one thing is not the right thing to do here because this clearly is a

systemic problem within this airline. The major story or the lead story that's out on all this is that their scheduling software,

their computer system for scheduling their employees is antiquated, and that's what led to the

problem.
