A young, wonderful girl, 17 years old, walked to a shop one night and someone out of the dark threw acid in her face.

So she had this massive burn. Her cheekbone was actually stuck to her shoulder.

With a mouth opened, with a big whole, her whole cheek was gone.

Through all this time on the ship, she and her mother

was just the most beautiful people. Her mother actually told us that once she was in hospital

where they wanted to do surgery on her and there was a little baby who also had to go the same day

and she said, no, that baby must go first because that baby needs the surgery more than she does.

mercy ships, but also very involved in Amsterdam in the Red Light District there and apologetics.
