The policies that were crushing our poor and homeless neighbors, these are not just anomalies,

right? What was happening in the cathedral began to turn into policies on the street,

and they arrested all of us, putting handcuffs, taken to jail. We did take our case to court,

and I had a shirt on that said Jesus was homeless.

And one of the first things that the judge did in the middle court was he goes, come here,

Jesus was homeless.

Tell me about that.

I said, well, your honor, in scripture, Jesus says, foxes have holes, birds of the

air have nests, but the son of man is no place to lay his head.

Jesus was homeless.

And the judge said, you guys might stand to can't. And we did.

encouragement as we hear some wonderful, challenging, stirring stories. If you're new to us,

I think we're all, well, we've just had enough of being bombarded

by a relentless barrage of negativity in the press that just induced us fear and anxiety and

apathy, cynicism, that sort of stuff. We need to hear from practitioners who are doing beautiful
