Summary

Welcome to Summer Session! During season 1, we read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. From now until September, we will be exploring Jane Eyre in once-a-week episodes which will drop on Mondays—sort of like a college class (only fun). If this doesn’t sound like your thing, don’t worry! Storytime will be back with Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen on September 9th. But for now, brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair, and settle in. Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups.

I'm Faith Moore, and this is the final episode of Summer Session.

During season one, we read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Since then, we've been exploring Jane Eyre in once-a-week episodes,

Happy September. We made it to September. We made it all the way through the summer to September. I don't know. I'm sure that for some of you, your kids have been in school now for like a month or more. And so this doesn't feel like such a transition. But for me,

my kids, my older kid goes back this Thursday and my younger one goes back next week, Monday.

For me, this summer is ending now, which is bittersweet. But I am thrilled that there is only one week left until

we start Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. And I cannot wait to share that book with you.

the time has flown by in a lot of ways. And I have really
