Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups.

I'm Faith Moore, and this is the final episode of Summer Session.

During season one, we read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Since then, we've been exploring Jane Eyre in once-a-week episodes,

sort of like a college class, only fun.

But season two begins next week, Monday,

September 9th, and we will be reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen in twice a week episodes,

which will drop on Mondays and Thursdays. I hope to see you there. But for now,

brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair, and settle in.

Class is in session.

Happy September. We made it to September. We made it all the way through the summer to September. I don't know. I'm sure that for some of you, your kids have been in school now for like a month or more. And so this doesn't feel like such a transition. But for me,

my kids, my older kid goes back this Thursday and my younger one goes back next week, Monday.

For me, this summer is ending now, which is bittersweet. But I am thrilled that there is only one week left until

we start Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. And I cannot wait to share that book with you.

Which means that this is our last week of summer session. I kind of can't believe it. You know,

the time has flown by in a lot of ways. And I have really

enjoyed talking about Jane Eyre with you this summer. And I hope that you enjoyed it too. And I want

to thank you so much for coming along with me this summer and taking this college class that

wasn't a college class on Jane Eyre. And entrusting me with this book,

even though I'm not actually a college professor, although, as we learned several weeks ago,

that might be probably a good thing when discussing this book. But I also wanted to thank you

more broadly, you know, for being here for the inaugural season of Storytime for grownups, I really cannot believe what this show
