Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups. I'm Faith Moore, and this is Summer Session.

During season one, we read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. From now until September, we'll be

exploring Jane Eyre in once-a-week episodes, which will drop on Mondays, sort of like a college

class, only fun. If this doesn't sound like your thing,

don't worry. Storytime will be back with a new book in September. But for now,

brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair, and settle in. Class is in session. Okay, did you catch it? Did you catch the trailer?

We're reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

I hope you're as excited as I am.

I am thrilled.

I love Jane Austen.

I love all her books.

Pride and Prejudice is her most famous and most beloved.

And I cannot wait to share it with you.

So buckle up.

It's going to be a really fun ride and we're almost there.

So as I said in the trailer, the book will begin September 9th and we'll go back to twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. And we're going to be reading a few chapters at a time actually because the chapters are all various lengths. So I've divided the book up so that there's an appropriate amount each time.

And I can't wait to start it with you. So this week, today is the Ask Me Anything episode,

and I've got your questions all queued up. I'm very excited to answer them. And next week is going to be a bit of a shorter episode. I'm going to just kind of give you a brief

introduction to kind of the time period that we're going to be in when we're reading Pride and

Prejudice. A little bit about Jane Austen herself, though I don't want to give you too much,

because I think that can kind of overload you when you're just trying to experience the story and
