So I'm into trying new and unusual self-care trends, trying them mix it up and do something

fun and different, see if it works for me.

Some of them have been really great like meditation and mindfulness and journaling, taking

walks, you know, actually going outside.

And some are not so great.

Like that time I tried that weird fish pedicure where they put them little fish in the

basin and have them eat away at the skin on your feet.

That was really weird.

I did not enjoy it, was not relaxing like I thought it would be, or watching ASMR videos

or those videos where people are eating and stuff.

I don't know who is comforted by the sounds of people breathing and chopping things, but

not me.

It does not work for me.

But thankfully I've discovered something that does work and that's getting fresh flowers

for me, putting them around my apartment, switching them out regularly.

Just gives me a boost, mentally and emotionally bringing life and color into my home and makes

it feel more welcoming and energizing almost like a real live person who cares about things

lives here.

It feels great and there's nothing not to love.

It's self-care made easy.

So do yourself a flavor and go get some flowers.

This is an initiative of that flower feeling and yeah, they make me feel great.
