guests in all of true crime. This is an STS special surviving my biggest case with Doctor, Detective.

You heard that right, he's a PhD, he's a doctor, he's a detective.

His name is Troy Looney.

He began his career in Akron, Ohio

with the Akron Police Department in 1992.

He is still an active police detective

in his 30-plus year law enforcement career,

having started 20 years in uniform patrol.

And now he is a detective in the major crime

against Persons Unit,

investigates all major crimes such as capital murder, homicide, overdose deaths,

sexual assaults, balonious assaults, burglaries,

kidnapping, officer involves shootings, suicides, robberies, and even white collar crimes.

Dr. Detective, what made you become a doctor once you are already a detective?
