the very best guests in all of true crime. This is an STS special surviving my biggest case with the Geo Profiler himself, Doug McGregor.

For those who do not know, Doug is better known as the Geo Profiler.

He's a forensic behavioral analyst

and a consultant specializing in geographic profiling

in linkage analysis for violent crime and missing persons.

He has a master of science from Missouri State University.

Lives up in the Great White North in Ottawa, Canada,

with his wife and two children.

So, the first and most obvious question, I guess, would be who or what is a geo profiler.

Sure I guess to understand geographic profiling if first have to understand a bit of what environmental criminology is.

It's obviously a branch of criminology.

I guess there's two components to environmental criminology.

There's obviously the one that a lot of people think of first, you know, environmental crimes.

You know, wildlife, poaching, illegal hunting, pollution, dumping
