Hey, it's Callie Black here with Today's Thought. Let's open up to Exodus chapter 8, verse 19.

There was a period of time when Sundays were really tough for me.

I used to love the Sabbath, but I suddenly struggled to see any good in that day.

It was just really hard.

I decided to take my concern to God in prayer.

I asked him very specifically to help me see the blessings of Sundays.

And the next time Sunday rolled around, I could see the hand of God in my life everywhere.

It was amazing. Sundays were still really hard. I'm not going to lie, but I now had

the spiritual eyes to see many of the blessings that I had missed out on. While the Pharaoh's

priests decided to see the hand of God in the miracles that Moses and Aaron performed,

Pharaoh himself chose to harden his heart and not see any evidence of the Lord.

We read in Exodus chapter 8, verse 19, then the magician said unto Pharaoh,

this is the finger of God. And Pharaoh's heart

was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them. It is not always easy to see God's hand in our lives,

and I can attest to that. But the Savior wants to give us eyes to see God's influence, no matter our circumstances.

His power, his influence, and his miracles are truly everywhere. We just have to be willing

and humble enough to look. So the takeaway of the day in five words or less,

ask to see God's influence. Thank you so much for being here today and for coming closer to
