Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Exodus 8 versus 8 and 10.

When I was in college, my husband and I decided to hike Mount Tipinogas with some friends, And it's a 15 mile hike or so, and we started

at about six in the morning. And several times, someone in our group would complain or express a

desire to turn around. And whenever that happened, our friend Reed would say, if not now, when?

And we would laugh and keep on hiking. And he was right. Now really is the best time to do

hard things. This is a lesson that Farrell really could have used. Moses had just called down

a plague of frogs. There were frogs everywhere. You opened a closet. Frogs were there. You sat down to

dinner. A frog was on your plate. You went to the restroom. You get the idea. Pharaoh called for

Moses and Aaron and said, entreat the Lord that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people,

and I will let the people go. Moses asked Pharaoh when he should make his request to the Lord

and when Pharaoh would set the Israelites free. And Pharaoh unwisely replied tomorrow. By the next day when the plague was

gone, Pharaoh had hardened his heart and he changed his mind. He would no longer allow the Israelites to go

free. If only he had chosen to do what was hard today, maybe the Egyptians could have avoided

the additional eight plagues that came.

We can learn from Pharaoh that when we're tempted to put off repenting or being obedient to a difficult commandment,

we should ask ourselves, if not now, when?

So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is, if not now, when?
