Summary

It’s story time in today’s episode! Rachel and her family have returned to Aruba for the first time after moving to Sweden a year ago. But it hasn’t been smooth sailing since their arrival. They left the island escaping a mold disaster… and the universe had a funny way of welcoming them back. Yes, it involves some mold, their car, and a bit of a disagreement between Rachel and Dennis. This episode has the entire story! From the struggle of leaving Aruba, to the remediation of their house, and the interesting way they happened upon a new fixer upper, you’re in for a tale. It will remind you that if you don’t heal on a deep level, the universe may throw you right back into the exact same place. It’s up to you to do the work to break the cycle. On today's episode of the show, I do a bit of storytelling. I am back in

0:06.7

Aruba after having lived in Sweden for almost an entire year now. And it

0:12.5

hasn't exactly been smooth sailing arriving back here. We left escaping

0:18.7

mold madness a year ago and strangely we ended up landing right back in mold

0:24.6

madness, which just shows us that we need to do healing on that deep level. If

0:31.4

we don't, the universe is going to put us right back in that same place. I hope

0:37.6

you enjoy this episode, this little trip down memory lane. Let's dive in.

Hello, hello, my darlings. Welcome back to the Yoga Girl podcast. I have to

0:53.3

preface this show and say I think I hope not, but I think it might be a little

0:59.4

bit echoey. If I showed you a picture of where I'm sitting right now, you would

1:03.5

absolutely laugh. I am sitting in it's just an empty room. It's really an empty

1:09.3

shell of a room. I have no furniture here. I don't have any carpets or

1:14.7

rocks. Nothing to absorb the sound. So I've done my very best and kind of

1:18.5

hung sheets and towels and fabric all over the windows and the doors. It looks

1:25.3

ridiculous, hoping that I could kind of minimize the echo a little bit, but I

1:28.9

don't think I did a perfect job. So if this episode isn't as perfect, because

1:35.4

of course normally we have perfect, perfect sound. I apologize. But yeah, so why,

1:41.5

why am I sitting in an empty shell of a room? Why am I sitting here in this

1:45.6

little echo chamber, this little echoey space? We are in a Ruba. We are in a

1:54.7

Ruba. We are on the island. We are back on the island where Dennis spent his

2:00.9

whole entire life, you know, moving to Sweden. It's the first time he's ever

2:04.6

lived away from a Ruba in his life. And I lived here for 12 and a half years.
