Today, I want to shift gears just a little bit.

Back before I had kids, I was always extraordinarily health conscious.

And then after I became a mom, that just went to like an entirely different level.

And being not just health conscious, but thinking about my body, my reproductive system,

and the idea of being a mom and being someone who was physically birthing a child and what that meant in terms of my menstrual cycles and what it meant in terms of my fertility, just all of these things that you often get a chance to think about when you're contemplating the idea of bringing a new human being into the planet.

And I remember that before we got married, one of the things that I was always

very, very, very, very concerned about was not getting pregnant before we were ready.
