And as my son loves to say, maybe you take a step back, you don't make a decision for a day or two. You just let it sit. You let it simmer. You let other variables pop up. Because this last one that I just mentioned is there in potential costs or consequences, you may not see them the first 10 or 15 minutes you're thinking about it.

1:15.2	Now, I want to use this framework not only just to scale your real estate business, but
1:19.8	whenever you're making an important decision in life.
1:23.3	And the weird thing is that we've never been taught this in school.
1:28.0	You always hear people say, I'm going to just go with my gut.
1:31.5	I feel it in my gut.
1:33.1	And I think that's an important component.
1:36.0	But that's not the only way you should be making decisions.
1:39.8	I think a lot of people over the last few years in real estate, specifically in multifamily, they felt there in their gut. And they were like, yeah, I'm going to make this decision. I'm going to go do this deal. It feels good. I feel it in my gut. But that's not the only way you should be analyzing your decisions. Let me walk through this framework with you. And I'm going to go live with one of my deals that I did about seven or eight years ago.
