Summary
Iyanla’s heard the same relationship issue again and again – when people self-diagnose the problem, which ultimately leads to misdiagnosis. In this episode, Iyanla’s first caller is a successful businesswoman who keeps finding herself attracting partners who battle drug addictions. A second caller has convinced herself that her marriage is falling apart due to her anxious vs. avoidant attachment style issue with her partner. Both women learn to focus on the core of the dysfunction, as well as the importance of self-growth and letting go.
