And you may be saying to yourself, well, Gino, why is that?

Well, what we've seen in our portfolio right now is that if you're not managing your asset

correctly right now in this part of the market cycle, you're not worrying about operations,

you're not learning about operations, you can buy all the great deals you want.

Those deals will become crappy deals if you don't focus on building

the business. So when you're starting out, the idea is to find the right deals. Woo!

building your real estate business. And last week, we discussed the property manager, we had

bookkeeping, we had the asset manager, and then I threw in the assistant. Those were some of the

top ones that you really need when you're first starting out. And the thing that most investors,

the biggest mistakes when they're first starting out,

this is the truth.

And this is what happened to me.

I didn't view it as a business.

I just wanted to get into real estate as a side hustle to make a few bucks,

to make a couple hundred dollars a month in cash flow per door.

I wasn't thinking bigger picture. I was thinking
