1:01.3	our guest is this erroneous premise that the Republican Party, along with a lot of Democrats,
1:07.1	have adopted that the reason why housing is unaffordable is because of a housing shortage.
1:13.4	And we need to just build, build, build a bunch of houses when in fact, demographically,
1:18.8	long term the problem is going to be the opposite.
1:21.3	The real reason we have an affordability problem is because of the spending driven inflation
1:25.7	that created the interest rate debt trap and all of the other ways that government subsidizes through HUD and the FHA housing and fuels, you know, makes ponies up the money just like it does with ag.
1:40.2	We talked about yesterday with the farm bill, just like it does with health health care.
1:44.0	It did it with housing.
1:45.3	The more government gets involved, the more prices go up.
1:48.6	Let the prices go down on their own.
