New York. I've been an entrepreneur most of my career. So did my first startup in the 90s,

started my second company in 2007, and then took over his CEO of Stockwoods in 2020. Spent

a lot of my career in the world of

alternatives, portfolio management tools and stuff for the alternative industry hedge funds

and their LPs and the like. Been in New York City for almost 24 years now.

Telling about Stocktwits. I don't particularly use it. It's not really kind of the theme of what I

go for, but I've heard great things about

it. So what was kind of the reason for creating it? And what's kind of the reason that people use it?

You know, Stockwoods has been around for a while. So it was founded back in 0809 by a couple founders

Howard Lunds and being one of them. It's a place where we gather the community, the investing

and trading community. And I think, you know, having a verticalized community that's focused on one thing and where we can, you know, provide the tools,

I think that's what was that first special sauce. It is very much in the style of Twitter, right? So

short form, you know, conversational back and forth between the community members. We invented the

cash tag. And so all the conversations can be organized around

tickers and symbols. And so I think it's that place where you can find a more focused conversation,

depending on what kind of investor you are, what kind of trader you are, like style matters, right?
