Summary

Ronald Lee Haskell, a 34-year-old man raised in a devout Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints family, was conditioned and committed to follow his predestined role as “man of the house” upon his eventual marriage. When he took sentiments of the Mormon Church’s ideology too far however, things quickly turned violent. Melannie Kaye Lyon, Ron’s wife - knew she had to get out - yet found herself stuck between the familial roles established by the church and the destructive clutches of her abuser. Most knew her husband Ron as jovial, fun loving, and amicable on the exterior... but behind closed doors, he was everything but. Melannie would finally break free from Ron and file for divorce with the support of her extended family, but not without consequence. Ron Haskell eventually sought vengeance from 6 innocent members of the Stay family in a multi-state rampage that seemingly shocked everyone but those who actually knew him closest.
