I welcome my colleague Mary Kessel, Executive Vice President Stevens Incorporated,

former senior advisor to the Secretary of State, now at the Hudson Institute to comment on not only the price of oil but the credibility

of the state of Israel, our ally, when it comes to defending its own people and the region from the predator state of Iran.

We all know that Iran fired 180-plus ballistic missiles at Israel in order to kill civilians.

They were intercepted.

No civilians died to my knowledge of that barrage.

There are civilians dying routinely now as the surrogate Hezbollah continues to fire into Israel.

The expectation for several days is that Israel will respond to Iran's not only provocation

attempt to kill Israeli citizens with

ballistic missiles. Quite fantastic, but here we are. That has influenced the price of

oil we're told by the financial markets. It is also means that

we're waiting for the scale of the response and what is the target. The

White House has let us know through several channels

including the president that the White House does not approve of Israel

striking at the suspect nuclear weapons program, the buried centrifuges

throughout Iran that are producing, we're told, fissile material or near to. What we're looking at now is what else is on the target list and acceptable?

There is an anecdote that the White House does not want the oil depots here because that would affect the price of all worldwide

and shut down the ability of the White House to continue negotiating in the

event that Vice President Harris is successful.
