For our Start Your Engines edition of our podcast, the last Thursday of every month, we like

to make this one specially going out to the guys out there who are listening. Thank you to our male

listeners. Our women listeners are of course more than welcome to listen because

this is going to be an amazing podcast. We are going to demolish a huge sacred cow in the evangelical world which is

that lust is not every man's battle. I'm so excited. As you know the Great Sex Rescue

our new book is coming out March 2nd and in that book we

surveyed 20,000 women and we looked at how different evangelical teachings affected

women's marital and sexual satisfaction.

And one of the messages that we looked at was

all men struggled with lust as every man's battle.

And we found that, as you might expect, that message hurt women's orgasm rates,

it hurt their marital satisfaction, and it just made everything worse.

And that's not really surprising.

I mean, if I were to tell you honey like you

know what babe? What's that? Today I really struggled not to have an affair. Yeah.
