0:50.2	But for the Great Sex Rescue, we conducted the largest survey that has ever been done of Christian women's marital and sexual satisfaction.
0:58.0	We talked to 20,000 women and we asked them all kinds of questions, and one of the big things we were trying
1:04.9	to get to the bottom of is are there certain things that are taught often in
1:09.2	evangelical circles about sex and marriage that keep women from having great sex and marriage.
1:15.6	So we measured all kinds of different teachings and we identified several that are really
1:20.4	quite toxic and those are the ones that we deconstruct in the great
1:23.6	sex rescue for the next few weeks we're going to spend each week looking at a
1:27.7	different teaching and how that's affected sex and this week we are going to
1:31.7	start with a gatekeeping message the idea that boys are going to want to
1:36.3	push your sexual boundaries and a lot of us heard that as teenagers. We actually looked at this in several
1:42.4	podcasts last spring and how this idea can affect our ability to get aroused and our ability to let ourselves go during sex and that was a really interesting discussion. I think that this is one of the big
1:54.1	reasons that women don't get aroused is because we're still playing cop on ourselves once we're
