Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk and Radio. Well, well, well, the easing of the

lockdown isn't working out too well for some people, is it? I'm not talking about the sensible people

like you and me who can quite happily go for a drink and a bit of food, sit outside under a canopy

and have a convivial afternoon exchanging ideas and debating the issues of the day. I'm not talking

about the thousands of restaurant and pub owners who have spent a fortune to make sure they've created

lovely environments where their customers can enjoy a few hours out of the house mixing with their

friends, the ones they haven't seen for quite a long time. No, I'm talking about those rougher

sections of society, those people who don't know how to behave, the kind of people that get physically violent when they're out and about, the kind of people that try and manhandle pub owners and try and stop them from entering their own premises just because they don't like their opinions.

I'm talking, of course, about Labour Party Heavies protecting their leader, Sakeir Stama, who rather unwisely decided to visit a pub yesterday

in VARF where the landlord wasn't entirely impressed with his policies of locking up pubs and

stopping him from doing any business. Was this the moment the leader of the opposition

signed his own death warrant and basically ended his career as leader of the opposition?
