and new Star Wars and we're here to talk about episode 8 the Last Jedi directed by

our old pal Ryan Johnson breaking bad fame.

Loopers fame.

Loopers fame he's now helming the largest franchise on the planet.

Loopers? I think it's Looper. I can't remember. It's as loopy.

What'd you think of the movie? I thought it was really good. Okay. I have a couple of caveats

but for the most part really good much better than rogue one did it

if you like Star Wars oh yeah definitely felt like Star Wars felt a lot like Star Wars

almost like in some ways a little too much I I felt like... Star Wars AF.

They really went for like a lot of the themes of Star Wars, but they had, they put their own

twist on them. It kind of like takes what Luke was doing when he was the student of Yoda and goes a little bit farther with it, which I appreciated right right

So yeah really good I I I like it, I think, but I certainly don't love it.

Hmm, okay.

And I, on the way over here, I saw it has like 94% on rotten tomatoes and everybody seen around me

seemed to like it and I just I I I was so excited to see this film it really hit me in the last week or two and I just started thinking like man I've heard so many good things I really like Ryan Johnson and the Force Awake was so awesome and I can't wait to see Mark Camel and Carrie Fisher's last performance and it's going to be so awesome.

And I get to see it with my kid and my wife and it's going to be awesome.

And I just, the whole time, like the first five minutes I felt that glow and then it just kind of went away and then I was watching and the critic part of me I couldn't

fucking turn off okay yeah like the whole like 15 minutes in it kept on asking me is this good is this good what are you going to say what are you going to say what are you going to say? What are you going to say? What are you going to say? People are going to be like like you're like you fucking don't like a DC film you think you're in a shit show wait until you hate a Star Wars

time you dumb fuck and like I it's hell it's hell and I I I don't I don't

know I don't even know if I can defend it honestly I would say I liked it enough for both of us but like I said I thought it was good but I I definitely have like some caveats which I will talk about in the spoiler section because it's important.
