| 0:00.0 | Hello, I am I and welcome to another episode of the Emmer Gunn Show. |
| 0:10.4 | I am your host, Emmergan Awardner, and this episode is a mini show and it's about |
| 0:14.7 | everything that is going on in the world right now and by that I mean the |
| 0:19.8 | murder of George Floyd and racism not just in America but around the world. |
| 0:24.0 | If you're a regular listener this may feel like it's coming a little bit out of the blue, |
| 0:28.0 | out of left field maybe, because you are probably aware that I actively avoid any political debate on the |
| 0:35.3 | podcast. I want everyone to feel they are welcome to listen and so on a couple of |
| 0:40.6 | occasions on this show when guests have expressed their feelings about the current president for example |

| 1:16.0 | it's important that I am vocal about what I believe in because if I've learned anything from the |
| 1:20.3 | last week, it's that silence or being neutral tends to benefit the people I don't want to |
| 1:25.2 | support more than it does the people I do want to support. I have never stated publicly that I am |
| 1:30.5 | anti animal abuse because I believed it was implied. I have never |
| 1:34.4 | stated publicly that I believe abuse of any kind against man, a woman or child |
| 1:38.4 | to be wrong because I thought it was implied. I have never stated publicly that I am an anti-racist |
| 1:44.4 | because of my privilege. And a friend said to me earlier this week, if you're |
| 1:48.3 | genuinely shocked you really haven't been paying attention. And so it's my commitment to start paying attention. I have in the |
| 1:55.6 | past taken this Switzerland neutral position and in the last week I've had to ask for myself why? why haven't I actively had those conversations on this |
