It is a beautiful morning here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Skies are clear as I look about.

You can see stars and, I don't know, maybe even some planets.

So one of the things that I got for Christmas, and I haven't mentioned this yet,

one of the things that I got for Christmas was a telescope.

This was a surprise gift from one of my sons. We draw names. We've got six children

and their spouses. And so what we do to save both expense and I think also time is we draw names.

And so each one of us buys one other person a gift. And my son Noah did not have my name, but just wanted to get me a gift and he bought me a telescope.

And I've been having so much fun heading out in the backyard, downloaded an app onto my phone

so that I can point it towards the sky and see what's up there,

and then aim my telescope in that direction.

It's been a ton of fun.

I even, I think it was Jupiter.

I focused in on Jupiter, and I think I could even see two of Jupiter's moons.

I mean, it was like, this is pretty great.

Anyhow, this is one of those mornings where if I weren't out walking,

I could pull the telescope out and have a really good time

looking at what's in the sky right now.
