I'm Dr. Scott Hahn, and I want to welcome my good friend, Rob Corzine.

Always a blast to be here. Yeah, it sure is. And I think it's going to be a very interesting

episode that we do today. You know, I never know for sure when these episodes come out.

All I know is when we record them. And in this case, this will be the first podcast that we have done since the election of Pope Leo the 14th.

Big deal.

Yeah.

It really is.

I was with Matt Fred down in Jacksonville, Florida, recording a episode of his own podcast,

and then we got the signal that white smoke was seen.

And so we basically unplugged that recording, and we went live.

And I think if anybody looks at the live recording, they'll see us stupefied.

We were stunned beyond all words, you know.

It was a long wait between white smoke and Habemus Popam. And even then, it was none of the names that everyone was prepared to talk about.

It was they elected who?

Yeah. Right. So here we are at the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology

doing our biblical theology podcast, Road to Amos, after the election of the very first

Augustinian priest, cardinal, as Pope Leo the 14th. And so I feel a pretty certain sense that we're going to be hearing

a lot of teaching in something of an Augustinian key. At least I hope so. Yeah, I took Augustine

as my, as my confirmation saint, to the surprise of many people who are expecting to hear

Thomas Aquinas.

Yeah.
