Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for especially for the miraculous healing of

Olivia and Margo through the intercession of blessed Pauline Jericho the

foundress of the Living Rosary Movement.

Now we're traveling closer and closer to the Feast of Pentecost

and we want to open our soul to the action, the power of the Holy Spirit. We need to remove the blockages and the blockages

are the seven deadly sins. So today we meditate on the deadly sin of sloth, otherwise known as a chadia or just spiritual

indifference. This third deadly sin is defined as sorrow or boredom with spiritual things.

It's the sin of being uninterested in the things of God or the things of the soul. being repulsed by

repulsed by prayer or virtue or the commitment of love.

We all know this feeling, the feeling that prayer is me, that laying down your life for your family is me,

that heroism and holiness and love are all me.

But if we act on that feeling, the result isn't that we ordinarily

mean, what we ordinarily mean by laziness, it's much, much worse. It's the rejection of the only things that make life really worth living.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead

us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
