| 2:00.8 | So first things first. How did you get into cycling and mountain biking in general? |
| 2:09.6 | So I got into cycling when I was in high school before Nika was the NorCal league. So I live in NorCal. We had that at my high school and I was never any good at the traditional ball sports. |
| 2:24.5 | I'd probably tried out for everyone and failed. That's soccer basketball all that not sure if it's coordination, but never really worked out. |
| 2:34.8 | My mom was getting frustrated with me hanging out after school and wanting me to do something. So my brother was on the bike team and true little brother fashion, whatever he does. I want to do and he wanted nothing to do with me. |
| 2:46.9 | So does mountain biking and borrowed a bike and got to the first race. |
| 2:53.5 | I kind of from there just did it to kind of check the box of, you know, my mom wanted me to be active and do a sport and did the Nika thing through high school. |
| 3:06.7 | And I was laughed because when I got out of cat one 17 18, I thought the next natural progression was cat one 19 to 29. |
