Well, certainly not the conversation that neither one of us were hoping to have.

I think both of us were hoping to have a conversation about a game against the Rams in L.A. on Sunday,

which is exactly what would have happened if the Hawks could have pulled off the win in Dallas,

thanks to the Eagles knocking off the Bears.

But instead, we are talking about the offseason softie. Brian Nemhouser, Hawk Blogger, last conversation of the year for us. I'm sure we'll try and hook up at some point during the off season because I know ahead of time, pal, that I'm going to miss you. Don't get too big of a head, by the way, about that, but I will look forward to talking with you. A couple of times over the offseason.

So let's talk about just kind of takeaways from the game on Saturday in Dallas.

What were your thoughts walking out of that game on Saturday?

Well, you know, I talked.

I was expecting pretty much what we got.

So I was kind of looking, I was hopeful pretty much what we got.

So I was kind of looking.

I was hopeful, but, you know, I think home field advantage is a big deal.

And I think we talked about how the Cowboys, especially the offense, is much different when they're playing at home. And, you know, play here, play there on the road, it's just tough. It is tough to win on the road it's just tough it is tough to win on the road

in general it's even tougher to win in the playoffs and the seahawks weren't good enough i will tell

you i mean we'll get into all the details but i will tell you dave i will take the way the seahawks

exited this season over the way the bears exited this season any day of the Any day of the week. So, you know, you've got to count your blessings where you can. Well, I guess. I mean, you go 12 and 4 and you lose at home on a blocked field goal. I think it's a much different feeling, a much more bitter taste in your mouth than what happened in Dallas. But even so, I think there were a lot of ways that the Seahawks could

have found a way to pull that off, starting with play calling, man. I just kind of felt like

everybody else walking out of that game on Saturday that I felt like it was not the greatest

day for Brian Schottenheimer, and really, in turn, not the greatest day for Pete Carroll. How about you?

Yeah, it was incredibly frustrating.

I mean, not only running the ball, you know, repeatedly,

but running the ball really in the same place with the same guys.
